Biography:

Peter Homewood was born in Cuxton and has lived in Kent all his life. He lives on Blue Bell Hill with his wife Evelyn, where they have been for the past 22 years.

He has a daughter and two sons, all of whom have grown up and moved on. Peter joined Reed Paper Group at Aylesford when he left school, moving to one of the largest newsprint manufacturers in Finland, Kymmene AB in 1970, having spent his entire career in the paper and printing industry.

He was made a Freeman of the City of London in 1987 and is a Liveryman of two worshipful companies in the city. He was elected a member of Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council in 1999 and served as Mayor in 2004.

He currently serves as a Governor at Tunbury Primary school in Walderslade, and has served as a Parish Councillor on Aylesford Parish Council for the past five years.

Biography:

Allan has represented Blue Bell Hill and Walderslade on T&MBC since 2003.

He and his wife Valerie have lived in the area for many years. They have two married children and eight grand children. Allan and Valerie ran a Care Home for the elderly in Maidstone for ten years.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and was a school Governor for several years. As a Borough Councillor he is Chairman of Area 3 Planning Committee and a member of the following Council Bodies: -

He is a Director of KCTA Disclosure Service Ltd and Company Secretary for Kent Care Training Associates both operations having a strong involvement in the Care Sector.

Allan is Chairman of the Chatham & Aylesford Conservative Association.

In his spare time he enjoys playing golf!
